My First Run

So this morming at 6:30, I got up and started my first of many runs on this new exercise program. Boy was that rough!! I am not in the shape that I thought I was in but it still felt good to get out and do something. 1 day down, 26 more to go. I hope I can keep this up.

I'm back

So it's been a while since I've had some down time to update the blog. So much has gone on since the last update. We've celebrated birthdays, Tim's and Nola's, David's prom, David's graduation from high school, Nola's baby shower and I think Mother's Day was in there somewhere. And the summer has just begun. Now we are patiently awaiting the arrival of Isabella Winans and getting ready to celebrate Emerson's 2nd and Addison's 1st birthdays. Time sure does fly by when you are having fun.

.....So while i was tending to the cookie monster in the other room, I realized that it was really quite in the girls room. This is what I stumbled upon....

Addie was just waiting for me to come and get her. These two lovely ladies sure know how to keep me on my toes!!!!

Girl Scout Cookies

The girl scouts suckered in Tim this year, again, and we seem to have an endless amount of Thin Mints. So today, Emerson took a great nap and ate all her lunch so I decided to reward her and I gave her 2 cookies. This is what happend to them....

Sweet Emerson

So for the past few days we have been hanging out at mom and dad's while they have some work done on the house. We haven't been able to play outside because that is where all the work is being done. So today we got home and it had stopped raining long enough for Emerson to enjoy some time outside. And what did she do.............? She jumped right into a puddle of water and love every minute of it. It was so wonderful to watch how happy something so small and silly made her. What a great moment to end the day with. I wish we could all be happy with such simple things!!

My Little Paranha (is that spelled right?)

She has finally got them..................Addison has finally got her two front teeth. And she is chewing through everything. It seems as though I can't keep her satisfied. Check out the pics and those legs!!! Love it!!!

They Struck Again!!!!

Yes ladies and gentlemen.....the tire bandits came again. Only this time, they took 2 tires off of Tim's truck. Can you believe that? What is this world coming to. And to top that off, once again the police only felt the need to take our statement over the phone. Now I know that they are very busy people and that they are doing their best to protect us but come on. I had my tires stolen off my car less then 30days ago. What more do we have to go through before the police will do something? Now I know what you're thinking, "You must live in a bad neighborhood!" We actually live in a very nice neighborhood with good schools and very nice people who take pride in the hard work that they do to buy the things that they have.

So, I felt that it was my civic duty to contact my council member to voice my concern. I'll let you know what happens, however, I'm not holding my breath!!
